Our beautiful baby Crenshaw Melon

Did you know that elephants are pregnant for 88 weeks? I feel bad for any husband of a 84-week pregnant elephant, especially if she works till the end. No offense to my wife, but this is getting insane. The poor woman is killing herself trying to keep her normal routine. She can hardly move and she pees 26 times an hour, yet she continues to work like there's no tomorrow. I fear the day I get a call from her work that she's gone into labor in the Executive Conference Room on the 25th floor. But even more, I fear the look on the face of the poor facilities worker who has to dump a bucket of sawdust on our precious"bag of waters".


Our little girl is now almost 6 pounds and still packing on the pounds at a rate of about an ounce a day. She is comparable to a crenshaw melon in size. And as you all know, crenshaw melons measure in at about 18 1/2 inches, top to bottom. That's a pretty huge thing to have growing inside of you.
