I saw the top picture as I was going through old posts from the summer. I can't believe that's the same girl from four months ago. It was taken July 23, 2008 -when we were still living in San Diego. Then again, that beautiful light shining on Bailey's changing table probably tipped you off. That is no halogen lamp, my friends. That is the sun.

God knows we haven't seen much of that wonderful ball of light and warmth here in good old Framingham, MA - the most populous town in New England and perhaps the coldest, wettest, most traffic-ridden nightmare of a town in the world. Other than that we really like it here.

Seriously, it is great to be able to see our family so much. And we don't have to worry about flying over the holidays, which would definitely be a nightmare with Miss Fussyface whimpering the whole time. And it would probably be hard traveling with Bailey, too.
Bailey had a weekend-long visit from Aunty Andrea, her soon-to-be Godmother. It was a fun

time. I'm not sure we really did anything exciting, but such is the life of a new parent. Andrea will understand someday. Until that day comes, I will have one more thing to be patronizing about. Andrea loves it when I'm patronizing. I recently told her that her peacock Halloween Costume was too revealing. She's the little sister I've always wanted. Well, I actually wanted a little brother, but whatever.
I'm excited for a few days off. It will be great to just not think about work for more than just a Saturday. When you think about it, the weekend is really just Saturday. You find me a man who can enjoy a care-free Sunday without thinking about work the next day and I will call that man a liar. Either that or that man doesn't work on Mondays or something.

Kristin really needs the help around the house, too. Today she cut her hand while washing a wine glass. The stem stabbed her in the pocket between her thumb and her index finger. (Ouch is right.) We put a butterfly band-aid thing on it, but it keeps opening every time she grips something. And she tends to grip a lot of things during a typical day.
I have it covered, though. I found this unregistered nurse off Craigslist who used to work on corpses. She's gonna swing by the house tomorrow with her rusty old tools. Her name is Tina and

she's a good friend of Andrea's. And I made up all that stuff about her being unregistered and corpses - I just needed filler. She's actually a nurse practitioner and she lives right down the street. She's gonna hook Kristin up with some pro-bono nursin.
It's 11:52 and I have to work tomorrow, so this is all the blog I have in me. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Eat your face off.

I loved seeing Bailey! I miss everyone already.
Thanks, Bailey for coming to Falmouth to visit us! Oh, and for bringing your parents too :) Love, Grammie
Bailey is growing up so fast, can't wait until Sunday to finally hold, kiss and cuddle with her. Her pictures are adorable, miss all of you. Love, Auntie Linda
We can't wait to see you Auntie Linda. You're going to die when you see her. She's a completely different baby from last time you saw her.
She really has grown up. In fact, I recently found a pack of cigarettes in her jacket pocket and had to take away her cell phone and laptop for a month.
In reply to "The Regans';
Sounds just like another 'Gemini' that we all know & love.

Thanks for telling me about this blog, Kristin. I will look at Bailey and read Scot's words as therapy during the work days!
As I've said before, she is a beauty and it sounds like you are really enjoying being the parents of this precious bundle of joy.
The days go slowly but the years go quickly, so make the most of both. You are a very fortunate family!
